Green Beans with Spiced Almonds

Boil 1 pound of trimmed green beans in a large pot of lightly salted water until barely tender and bright green, 3 to 4 minutes, depending on toughness. Drain and run under cold water to stop the cooking. Set aside.
Just before serving, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over moderate heat.   Add 2ounces of coarsely chopped spiced or Smokehouse almonds and cook for 30 seconds, stirring frequently. Add the cooled green beans and cook, tossing, until heated throughout, 2 to 3 minutes. This recipe will yeild 4 servings.
