I possess a valid California Substitute Teaching (30-Day) Permit (3/1999-3/2006);
and, I am on the current approved list of Substitute Teachers for the Tehama County
Public Schools.

I enjoy helping children learn, helping them become aware and responsible persons,
helping them make their time at school into a positive experience, and helping them
accomplish the daily objectives set by their teachers.

Master of Science in Library Science, University of Southern California.

Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, California State University at Los Angeles.

I now work as the Technology and Media Services Supervisor for the Corning

In 1998, I retired as a Library Administrator for the County of Los Angeles Public Library;

introduction of new audio-visual media, library automation, and management information
systems for one of the largest library systems in the United States.  For fourteen years,
I was the Regional Administrator for 17 very busy libraries in the East San Gabriel Valley.

I have completed many additional courses in education, business administration, philosophy,
computer software, counseling, yoga, staff training, Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong, and supervision.

I am a good public speaker, an outgoing leader, a cheerful and friendly person,
and present a energetic and professional appearance.

I was elected to serve as a Trustee on the Gerber Elementary School District Board
in Red Bluff, California, and served on that School Board for four years (2000-2004).

I worked as the Certificated Library Media Teacher, District Librarian, for the
