Tips for Using Atomz
to Search
The Spirit of Gardening Website

The Atomz.com search engine can do a very fast and very accurate search of its
data file of The Spirit of Gardening website.  Atomz reindexes the data file once
each week.

The Atomz search output display will show all the hyperlinked documents where
the search term (word, name or date) can be found.  The display also includes the
sentence in which the search term was found, and frequently, a sentence or two
after the search term.  When the search term is a word or date (e.g., weed, oak,
death, 1650, etc.) the Atomz search output display will often be quite useful.

After clicking on the hyperlink to the document that Atomz has identified as
containing the search term, searchers will then need to use the Find feature
(Ctrl+F) in their browser to go to the correct location in the document where
the term is located.

The only drawback, due to the quotation style of this website, is that a search
on an author's name (e.g., Gertrude Jekyll, Henry Mitchell, Vita Sackville-West,
Allen Lacy, Henry D.Thoreau, etc.) will not show all or part of the quotation
preceding the authors' name.

When looking for a specific quotation, use the Advanced Atomz search form
and do a search for an exact phrase.

Overall, I am very pleased with the power of the Atomz Search Engine.
It is extremely fast and accurate.
